Broker's Comments
Camper and Nicholsons, founded in 1782 by a London shipwright on land leased from the Royal Naval Dockyard, are known throughout the world as one of the finest yacht and boat builders.
Synonymous with high quality build and design, their yachts have crossed many oceans and will continue to do so. The Nicholson (Nic) 35 with her strong and capable seakeeping ability, paired with classically elegant lines, make her a wonderful cruising yacht, easily handled by two, yet with plenty of room for a family or crew. Over 200 were built over a long production run, they certainly are a favourite of mine!
This Nic 35 has been in the same ownership for 20 years, loved as a family cruiser with lots of sea miles under her keel and a continuous maintenance schedule alongside. On deck she is clean and uncluttered, feels safe to move around and with good sized cockpit lockers - everything has a place. Below her traditional layout is designed to go to sea, a forward facing chart table and u-shaped galley, snug saloon and versatile berth options tick every box for me and she's dry, fresh and well presented.
To me she is a lovely example of one of the finest cruising yacht designs there is. Upgraded where upgrades are useful yet original otherwise and waiting for the next adventure!
