Broker's Comments

If you're looking for a fabulous long term cruiser, or a very comfortable liveaboard, then this fast, easy to handle Star Twins 34 Catamaran definitely deserves a place on your short list.

The Bermudan cutter rig has a fully battened main, flat pack & lazy jacks, twin furlers for the Genoa & Staysail, and lines leading back to self tailing winches (one of which is electric) in a safe, sheltered, roomy cockpit. The cockpit feels well protected from the elements. There is plenty of storage for all your deck equipment and the decks are easy to move around with lots of sunbathing space.

The accommodation, which had all the head-linings, windows, hatches and ports replaced in 2016, is superb. Both double aft cabins are fitted with king sized beds and good storage. They are light, airy and have good ventilation. Forward of these, are two single cabins with generous sized berths. The headroom is 6ft 3 within the hulls and 5ft 10 in the saloon area. The upholstery throughout appears to be in very good condition.

Forwards of this, to port, is a well fitted, practical galley that’s good for cooking at sea, with a double sink, full cooker, fridge and plenty of integrated storage. On the starboard side is the heads compartment, which again is roomy and practical. It has a heads fitted with a holding tank, hot & cold pressurised water to the handbasin & shower, all fitted into a one piece moulding to enable easy cleaning.

The saloon is spacious, light & airy with comfortable U shaped seating around a central dining table (which can be converted into an additional double berth if required). The nav station is well equipped and has a good storage area for charts, Almanac's, stationery etc.

The auto helm can be controlled from inside the saloon area and there are two custom built bubble type windows, set into the coachhouse roof, which provide for good all round lookout positions.

A real home from home whether at sea, on a marina, on a mooring, at anchorage or on a drying berth. Highly recommended.
