Broker's Comments

The Vancouver 28 is an uncompromisingly cruising-orientated design, with no concessions to racing or modern fashion. 'Yachting Monthly' describe the design as having "....perfect manners and easy long-legged handling" and "....she will keep going comfortably when lighter yachts are looking for shelter". The heavy-displacement long keel hull is very solidly built, and the hull form copes well with added weight for stores for long passages.

The boat has had 3 owners and the second owner kept her laid up ashore for 15 years of her life before she was re-fitted in 2007. She had an insurance survey 2 years ago and she has always been looked after and serviced by the boatyard. The boat was Copper Coated in 2010. She is being sold due to lack of use, so if you are in the market for a Vancouver 28 then this beautifully maintained boat is well worth a look.
