Mon 7 May Solar Heritage boat trip: Harbour Discovery
11am / 1.5 hours
Departure from Itchenor for a 1½ hour boat trip. Onboard there will be a general commentary about Chichester Harbour Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Sat 12 May Two Villages and a Ferry Walk
10am / 5 hours
A 7 mile (11km) walk between the harbour villages of Bosham and Itchenor with a ferry ride in between. Bring a packed lunch and be prepared for muddy tidal paths.
Fee: £3 on the day.

Sun 13 May Geology of Old Langstone
10am / 2 hours
A short stroll with time to discover the historic building stones around Old Langstone, including hearing about recent studies on the building of the first Langstone bridge. With David Bone, local geology enthusiast.

Meet: The Ship Inn, Langstone PO9 1RD. Free public car park next to the pub just north of the bridge onto Hayling Island

Mon 14 May Listening for Cetti’s Warblers
9am / 2 hours
A bird watching stroll on Thorney Island taking time to listen out for Cetti’s Warblers. With Conservancy Warden and bird enthusiast Barry Collins. Bring binoculars. No dogs.
Fee: £3 on the day.
Meet: corner of Thornham Lane and Thorney Road, Thorney Island. Roadside parking with care please.

Tue 15 May Songs of the Sea
7:00pm / 1.5 hours
An evening of music and stories about the lives of the sailors on the ocean going sailing boats of years gone by. In the company of Education Officers Gary James and John Tierney (retired). Musical ability not essential but do come along prepared to take part!

Sat 19 May Earth, Air and Water: Watercolours (5 places left)
10am / 4 hours
A workshop on watercolour painting inspired by Chichester Harbour. With artist and Conservancy Teacher Fran Davies. We have some basic materials but you might like to bring your own.

A stroll along the shoreline at Nutbourne, taking time to look for and identify the birds of the hedgerows. With local keen bird watcher Mick Evans. Bring binoculars. No dogs.

Meet: Farm Lane, Nutbourne PO18 8SB. Off the A259 nearly opposite the caravan dealers. Meet by footpath next to the gate. Please park carefully.
