Broker's Comments

The Macgregor 26 is a popular yacht worldwide, not least because of its innovative internal external design, providing a versatile boat with sizeable accommodation. As a trailerable option, stability is provided by water ballast tanks, which can be drained, including when the boat is being used in its faster capacity as a powerboat. These boats provide an array of sailing options, in either a sailing or powerboat capacity and so make an excellent option for anybody looking for a boat that can be used on lakes and most inland waters, alongside coastal cruising opportunities. The 26M also includes a rotating mast, lifting keel and twin, lifting rudders. Down below there is 6' of headroom, a separate forward cabin and heads, a spacious saloon, king-size aft berth and a sizeable, sliding, galley.

This is a well maintained, lightly used and therefore unspoiled, example, including original interior furnishings that are in good condition. The boat includes numerous recently purchased new items, including a small cooker, heater and life preservers. This sale also includes an unused set of family waterproofs, mast lifting tackle and a lightly used (500 miles), twin axle, braked, road trailer.
