Finish Paint finish

Cold Moulded Epoxy timber construction. During the recent re-fit she had hull and deck back to the bare wood inside and out re-faired and re-painted to a high standard. A couple of years ago this boat had a small hull extension at the transom to increase the length. This now enables this boat to be available for those races where 30' is the minimum length rquirement. The original transom remains, so should you wish to revert to her original 30' LOA then this would not be a difficult job to achieve. The bow was also re-designed to its current shape, however the original bow was not removed and could be uncovered.

Broker's Comments

This vessel was a ground breaking design from Adrian Thompson (Paragon, Team Philips, VSV's) when she was built near Bristol back in 1982. She is the quintessential short-handed racing boat and is one of the most perfectly formed and eye catching sailing yachts from this era. Superbly minimalist in concept this yacht will take you racing or fast cruising with minimal effort and maximum fun. Benefitting from a recent very comprehensive re-fit and over-haul she is in extremely good condition with recent rig/sails, deck hardware and all the appendages removed, re-faired, re-fitted and with gleaming paint work to the hull and decks. Anyone viewing this boat in the flesh will not be disappointed by the condition of this gorgeous boat. When built she won her class in the 1982 Round Britain and Ireland Race and beat many larger monohulls. She also won her class in several AZAB and OSTAR races. She will plane happily at 14/15 knots in flat water and with her simple yet reliable water ballast system will happily punch her way to windward. This yacht is capable of 250nm day runs. Absolutely ready to sail away and share her next adventure with you.
